- Image Border is for creating a thin border and a drop shadow for making your image attractive.
- File Handling Preferences such as Ask Before Saving Layered TIFF files, Maximize PSD and PSB file compatibility, and Recent File List is housed on the left of the dialog box.
- Performance Preferences such as Memory Usage, History & Cache, Scratch Disks, and Enable OpenGL Drawing are also housed on the left of the dialog box.
- Cursor Preferences which are basically related to brush-related tools are also situated on the left of the dialog box.
- Unit & Ruler Preferences are for measuring pixels and are also situated on the left of the dialog box.
- Type Preferences are for changing the font is also housed on the left of the dialog box.
